Text: Our beloved was born in Philadelphia, PA to J. Bryon and Ann Richards Barton. Married Edward Benbow Erekson Jan. 17, 1940 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Survived by four daughters, Barbara Cromar, Mary Lou (Dennis) Sahleen, Marne' Burdette, and Edette (Randy) Crump; sister, Sally Prince, brothers, Willard (Jeanne) and Joe (Mary) Barton;, 24 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were Thursday, June 14th at the Cottonwood 14th Ward.

Text: Our loving mother, Sally Prince, passed away peacefully from Natural Causes on October 14, 2008 at Le Chateau at Brickyard Plaza Assisted Living Center in East Millcreek, Utah.
She was born April 8, 1921 in Washington, D.C. to James B. Barton and Annie D. Barton and grew up in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Married to Bradford H. Prince for 24 years (later divorced). She worked most of her career as an executive secretary in banking. She was a faithful member of the LDS church and held numerous callings. She was vibrant, stylish and young at heart.
Survived by her brothers Joseph Barton (Mary) and Willard Barton (Jean), her children Bart (Lee), Bill (Julie), Anne (Mike) and Jim (Saskia), 14 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, James Barton (brother) and Louise Erickson (sister).

Text: Willard Bryon Barton passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Orem, Utah at the age of eighty-seven.
Willard was born August 16, 1923 in Ogden, Utah to James Bryon and Annie Doremus Richards Barton. He was raised a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served faithfully in many callings throughout his life.
He attended the University of New Mexico and was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Navy Captain in the Pacific. After the war, he served as an LDS missionary in the East Central States Mission.
He married Catherine Jean Patton on November 10, 1950 in the Salt Lake Temple and had five children; two sons and three daughters.
He served as Bishop of the Balboa Ward in San Francisco Stake and later as President of the Wilmette, Illinois Stake. Willard worked as an Executive in the insurance industry first in California and later in Illinois.
After retirement, he served as President of the New York, New York Mission (1986-1989) and as President of the Chicago, Illinois Temple (1994-1997). Willard and Jean celebrated their sixtieth wedding anniversary this past November.
Dad is survived by his wife, Jean; brother, Joseph (Mary) Barton; children, Anita (Ernie) Thornton, BryAnn (Greger) Roner, Craig (Brenda) Barton, Cathy (Dave) Young, and Mark (Sue) Barton; twenty-six grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 in the Emigration Stake Center, 589 East 18th Avenue, Salt Lake City, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple Street, Salt Lake City, Utah, and Wednesday morning from 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the Church prior to the services.
Interment will follow in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
