Text: RIVERTON - Our loving Mother Melva E. Burrows Monk, 84 died peacefully in her sleep March 19, 2003.
Born Jan 27, 1919 in Hatch, Utah to James Bascom and Mary Ann Hatch Burrows. Married Jones Welch Monk Oct. 2, 1940 in the Salt Lake L.D.S. Temple.
He preceded her in death.
Melva graduated from Springville High School, work in the V.A. Hospital and at Tooele Army Depot. She was a member of the LDS church and served as a Temple worker for many years.
Her family was her pride and joy. She was admired for courage, tolerance, humility and determination. She always put everyone needs and wants above her own.
Survived by children, Sheldon Jones (Amy), Layton, Doyle (Sue) So. Jordan; Edyth (Lynn) Pehrson, Orem; Kathy Waters, Riverton; Lynn, Salt Lake City; 30 grandchildren, 42 great -grandchildren; brothers Herbert (Lilly) Burrows, Springville; Harold (Fern) Mt. Pleasant; sister-in-law Grace Burrows, Ogden. Preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.

Text: Our loving mother and grandmother, Mary M. Cloward, passed away on Saturday July 30, 2011 in Payson, Utah. She was born March 16, 1925 in Cowley, Big Horn, Wyoming to Thomas Jones and Chloe Welch Monk. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School.
She was married to her eternal companion, Gordon L. Cloward on April 3, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Mary was a talented homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. They always came first and she loved them dearly. She was a secretary for Zions Investment Corporation and also for Coca Cola Company. Mary was a member of the Spanish Fork Fire Ladies Auxiliary and sang in the Choralettes singing group. She enjoyed crocheting and quilting and made afghans and quilts for all her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served as a visiting teacher and in many other callings.
She is survived by her children, Larry (Carole) Cloward, West Valley City, Dennis (Trudy) Cloward, West Jordan, Lynnette (Ron) Diamond, Santaquin; a daughter-in-law, Teena (Craig Cloward, deceased) Wernig, Spanish Fork; 19 grandchildren and 42 great grandchildren; and one brother, Coulam (Janis) Monk, Sun Lakes, AZ. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Cloward and her son, Craig Cloward; two brothers, Jones Monk, Calvin Monk, and one sister, Beulah Simmons.
