Text:   Curtis Welch Holyoak, age 81, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Davis Hospital and Medical Center. He was born December 12, 1926 the first of two children of Lorence and Sarah Holyoak. He married Hellen Marston on November 20, 1961. They were married for 22 years. Curt joined the Navy at the age of 17 and went to serve in the Aleutian Islands, receiving his 1st Battle Star before turning 18 years old. After being discharged from the Navy he went to work at the Morgan Cement Plant and then began working for Olsen Chevrolet and continued through the transition to Young Chevrolet. His eyesight forced him to retire after 52 years of service along with his passion for bowling at Davis Lanes since it opened for business.

Survived by his wife Hellen, son, Allan Curtis Holyoak, daughter, Shelly Holyoak Visarraga, step-son, Rick Horne, sister, Ruth H. Hutton, Evanston, WY; nephew, Mike Hutton, five grandchildren, Niccole Chandler, Carrie Paulsen, Neil Redford III, Amanda Horne, Jason Horne, and seven great-grandchildren.
He was loved by many people of all ages from both work and bowling but it is truly his family who brought him both love and happiness and who he brought the same. He was the most loving and giving man to anybody who is blessed to know him. He is a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend, brother and son, always giving more than he ever took. He will be deeply loved and missed by all who knew him.
